Congratulations on your insightful book, Sonjan. It seems as if you were
writing it just for me. I have been largely alone on my journey that started
back in college and has uninterruptedly been my unifying thrust and
summary of my whole life.
In the 1st half of your book, you seemed to be like an elder brother pointing
out the view of the path we each ere journeying on. I was familiar with the
sights, but you fleshed them out and reinvigorated them for me. I was
thrilled. Not only to discover I had a brother that shared my spiritual
journey, but also for you keen and well-developed insight.
Each night after my evening meditation, but just before sleep, I sip a few
pages of your fine wine. I knew the vintage, but you pointed out the depths
of the various flavors and brought them to my attention for another taste.
However, in the 2nd half of the book, you were pointing out some things
that I hadn’t considered before. The experiences that you shared with me
were new and fresh. But you also pointed out new vistas not to miss.
It often felt to me that in those evenings before sleep, you were circling
back to sit at my campfire and tell me of things to look to on the next day’s
journey.
Then off into the night you would go on your joyful journey up that
mountain.
